Cardinal López Romero and priest Antonio Pelayo are involved in murky judicial proceedings

Recently we referred to the cardinal, and now it is the turn of the simple cleric who was never a saint of my devotion—and let the saying be taken in the sense of the well-known Castilian phrase, for I never detected in him the slightest hint of sanctity. Now Blázquez and Argüello come out to support him in some way. Blázquez, generally of sound doctrine but with more questionable judgment, and Argüello, whose judgment is also in need of improvement.

If the courts were to rid us of the cardinal and the priest, for being unacceptable and criminal, they would have rendered a great service to the Church.

So we shall wait to see what results from the proceedings.
