As if the possibility of a terrible appointment coming from the rain had disturbed the historic Astorgan diocese, other much more reassuring rumors have immediately begun to circulate among the vicar generals of Valladolid and Burgos. Either of the two would be worthy candidates and with those names the diocese could calmly await the publication of the appointment.
Let us hope that the fateful appointment that circulated, if it were ruled out for Astorga, would not threaten either the currently vacant dioceses or those that have bishops past their due date.
