Reading from the Book of Exodus
Exodus 34, 4b-6. 8-9
In those days, Moses went up the mountain of Sinai early in the morning, carrying in his hand the two stone tablets, as the Lord had commanded him. The Lord descended in a cloud and made himself present to him.
Moses then pronounced the name of the Lord, and the Lord, passing before him, proclaimed: «I am the Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and fidelity».
At once, Moses bowed down to the ground and worshiped him, saying: «If I have found favor in your eyes, please come now with us, even though this people is stubborn; forgive our wickedness and sins, and take us as your own».

Brothers and sisters: Rejoice, strive for perfection, encourage one another, live in peace and harmony. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

All the faithful greet you.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be always with you.
Gospel
Reading from the holy Gospel according to Saint John
John 3, 16-18
«God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned; but whoever does not believe is already condemned, for not having believed in the only Son of God».
