Specola points to Leo XIV's gestures favorable to traditionalists

«Leo XIV supports demonstrations where the presence of God is perceived, regardless of debates about their legitimacy. Last year, for example, it was surprising that Leo XIV sent a greeting message to the Paris to Chartres pilgrimage , which was attended by thousands of people, mostly young, all attached to the traditional rite; it was even said that the Pope was praying for the pilgrimage and excerpts from a letter he had sent to French Catholics were read. The Apostolic Nuncio in England, Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía, announced that Leo XIV had requested exceptions to celebrate according to the ancient rite, as long as it was requested . Leo XIV extends a friendly hand to the traditionalist world, seeking to overcome the attitude of absolute closure that had characterized the end of Pope Francis’s pontificate. Another sign is that for years, the Heralds of the Gospel were prevented from ordaining new priests. They were subjected to special administration. On April 11 and 12, the Heralds of the Gospel finally managed to ordain 26 new priests.  The Heralds are just one example of groups considered too traditionalist and targeted by Pope Francis.»

I think everything that Specola points out in his latest issue is very important.
