He was an openly progressive Claretian from «Misión Abierta,» from which he was dismissed in 1988. Years later, in 1993, along with other religious, he was expelled from the congregation.
He was born in Prado (Zamora) in 1941 and died on September 30, 2026, already largely forgotten by almost everyone. For the remaining progressives, it was undoubtedly a loss, though more of an archaeological one.
