ANNOUNCEMENT
From the Faculty Council of the Ntra. Sra. de los Dolores school, we address the people of Guareña to share news of profound emotional significance for our entire educational community and for the town of Guareña.
After 130 years of uninterrupted presence, dedication, and service, the Sisters of the congregation of the Missionaries of Christian Doctrine will be leaving our town. The advanced age of the sisters currently with us and the lack of vocations to continue their physical presence in the municipality have led the congregation to make the difficult decision to transfer them to Madrid, where they will receive the care and attention this new stage of their lives requires.
It is impossible to summarize in a few lines the indelible mark that the Missionaries of Christian Doctrine leave on Guareña. For over a century, entire generations of residents have been educated under their guidance, receiving not only an academic education but also a profound transmission of human values, faith, and charity. Their silent, generous, and selfless work is already part of the history and heart of our town.
In light of this farewell, we wish to convey a message of complete reassurance and certainty regarding the continuity of our school.
As you know, the school has been part of the Doctrina Cristiana Educational Foundation since 2008, which fully guarantees the operation, stability, and future projection of the center. The management and the teaching and support staff remain at the helm with the same enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment as always. Our mission is to keep alive the legacy that the sisters entrust to us and to continue educating your children under the same principles, closeness, and values that have always defined us.
We will soon inform you about the events we will organize to pay them the tribute they deserve and to express, as a community, our most sincere gratitude for so many years of love and dedication to our school and to Guareña.
