The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of Oliveira (Brazil) presented by His Excellency Bishop Miguel Ângelo Freitas Ribeiro. He is succeeded by His Excellency Bishop Antônio Carlos Paiva, until now Coadjutor Bishop of the same Diocese.
