Promulgation of decrees from the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, 27.04.2026
During the audience granted to His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the His Pontiff authorized said Dicastery to promulgate the decrees relating to: – the martyrdom of the Servants of God Satanislao Ortega García (born with the lay name: Lorenzo) and the 48 companions, professed religious of the Institute of the Brothers of Christian Instruction of St. Gabriel, as well as Emanuele Berenguer Cusella, diocesan priest, killed between the months of July and November 1936, out of hatred for the faith, in various places in Catalonia (Spain), in the context of said persecution; The news, excellent, the writing, poor. That the Bulletin calls the Supreme Pontiff «the His Pontiff» demands more attention from the Bulletin’s editor. And calling the one who leads the martyrs Satanislao even sounds like blasphemy because it seems like the blessed one is going to be Satan in Polish. I suppose that Satanislao should be Stanislaus. Also, the Emanuele thing seems deficient. Well, that editor should be fired because it seems that writing is not his thing. |
