Reading from the letter of the Apostle Saint Paul to the Ephesians
Ephesians 2, 19-22
Brothers and sisters: You are no longer foreigners or strangers; you are fellow citizens with the saints and belong to the household of God, because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Reading from the holy Gospel according to Saint John
John 20, 24-29
Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
