What does our heart seek if not a Truth that is Love?

In these difficult times of confusion and uncertainty, Christian hope is one of the virtues that has its great foundation in the certainty of the birth of the Son of God, the Word made flesh, who took on our human condition, except for sin, to grant us a new life that links us back to God.

Christmas is one of the few holidays that humanity remembers, not only for what it implies in nostalgia and attachment to those we love most, but it is one of the events that returns to us the certainty that God is with us.

As Pope Benedict XVI aptly stated: «God, in fact, who is the perfect and subsistent Love, revealed himself in Jesus by assuming our human condition. In this way, he has also indicated to us the path to peace: dialogue, forgiveness, solidarity. This is the only path that leads to authentic peace.»

What things motivate our hope? Christmas is one of them; despite the violence, the message of peace always resonates in our being as something that always moves us. Christ’s Christmas is the event of salvation capable of imprinting renewed hope on the existence of every human being.

This is our sincere wish, from this blog, to all:

Merry Christmas 2025!
