Mexico City / ACN.- In the framework of the annual celebrations of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Virgin of the Pillar, the Knights of the Rosary announced the realization of their third great public prayer campaign: the Procession and Public Rosary, which will take place on Saturday, October 11, at 11:00 a.m. in front of the National Expiatory Temple of San Felipe de Jesús, on Madero Street, a few steps from the capital's Zócalo.
The call is directed to all lay faithful, but with special emphasis on Catholic men, called to bravely assume their role in the Church, to live Christian virtues, and to actively defend religious freedom in public life.
This year, the event promises to be even more impactful: with the image of the Virgin at the front, hundreds of men and families will march in unity, carrying t-shirts, banners, and flags of Hispanidad. “We want to show that our faith is not hidden, but proclaimed in the streets as a sign of hope and unity”, expressed the organizers.
The Knights of the Rosary are a lay movement of Catholic men present in 9 countries, with more than 100 local communities and nearly 1,000 active members. Their mission is clear: to promote the Rosary prayer every first Saturday of the month, to supplicate for the conversion of sinners, and to work for the Social Reign of Christ.
This year, the procession is also framed within the Great Warning Campaign, an evangelization initiative that promotes the movie The Great Warning. Thanks to an agreement with BellaDream Films, a significant portion of the income from the online rental of the film will be allocated to the apostolate of the Knights of the Rosary. In addition, the faithful can organize community screenings in parishes, schools, or associations, turning each event into an opportunity for conversion, good, and the strengthening of Christian life.
The day not only seeks to strengthen spiritual life, but also to renew the commitment of Catholics to the defense of religious freedom and Christian values in public life. The invitation is open to families, parishes, associations, and communities.
