We end the year 2025 with a grateful Te Deum, and we begin 2026 by invoking the Holy Spirit.
Veni, Creátor Spíritus,
mentes tuórum vísita,
imple supérna grátia,
quæ tu creásti péctora.
Qui díceris Paráclitus,
altíssimi donum Dei,
fons vivus, ignis, cáritas,
et spiritális únctio.
Tu septifórmis múnere,
dígitus patérnæ déxteræ,
tu rite promíssum Patris,
sermóne ditans gúttura.
Accénde lumen sénsibus,
infúnde amórem córdibus,
infírma nostri córporis
virtúte firmans pérpeti.

Kindle light in our senses,

be You our guide,

Through You may we know the Father,
and also the Son;
and believe in You, their Spirit,
