BLACKNESS, EXEMPLARY ONCE AGAIN
Many times we have set as models our brothers
of color, those exemplary Catholics of black Africa, which extends
throughout the continent below the Sahara desert, and who live
even in countries as dangerous as Nigeria.
Today, the defense of the natural and supernatural order is assumed by
the archbishop of Ghana, Jonh Bonaventura Kwofic, and it deals with
homosexuality and its invasion in the seminaries.
We learn from the blog
Specola
of
Infovaticana
of his
very clear and straightforward words: “I am going to talk about something that is
growing like a monster in the seminaries. Please, do everything
possible to expel people with that orientation from
our seminaries, because it is not only an abomination for the
priestly attitude, but it also does not make it worthwhile to
live the gifts of celibacy. It is homosexuality and the
gay
.
We are men; going after women suits us well. But men
go after men!”.
He also points out that homosexuality “hinders a
correct relationship with men and women”.
Men of color tell us the basics, but as Samuel Wenceslao Medrano repeated: the basics are the fundamentals.
The same archbishop of Accra, who belongs to the Congregation
of the Holy Spirit, at the beginning of last year, denounced as
grave sin belonging to Freemasonry, stating that “one cannot
be an authentic Catholic and a Mason at the same time”.
Very recently we were forced to criticize the leadership of
our episcopate, whose president, Archbishop Marcelo Colombo,
Archbishop of Mendoza, has lost the notion of the fundamentals, which
the African prelate has so clearly, by adhering to the march of
homosexuals, lesbians, transsexuals, etc. At the beginning of the year
last year.
But, moreover, the archbishop of Ghana speaks of the gifts of
celibacy, which has generated and generates so many benefits for the Church
Latin Catholic. Because after all, celibacy is a gratuitous gift
that God grants to whom He wishes, offered and freely accepted and
exercised.
And since we are on the topic of seminaries, we want
to partially gloss a note from the blog “
The Wanderer
”, which
is titled: “The Argentine Episcopate. The catastrophe and the denial of
reality”, published in the magazine
Gladius
, no. 123, year 2025.
The Archdiocesan Seminary of Buenos Aires had 272
seminary students in 1960; today it has 36. Most of the historic building that
covers four blocks is a museum.
But worse is the situation of the Conciliar Seminary of Córdoba,
founded in 1719 and which in 1975 under the direction of Fr. Luis Alesio,
reached in 1983 with 200 seminary students from the Archdiocese and the
suffragan dioceses and from various religious orders. Today, under the
management of the Jesuit cardinal Ángel Rossi, 10 seminary students remain,
five from Córdoba, San Francisco and Dean Funes and as many others from the
diocese of La Rioja.
An interesting case we have in the Archdiocesan Seminary
of La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, which under the government of
Msgr. Héctor Aguer in 2012 reached 97 seminary students. Upon
becoming emeritus, he was replaced by a kind of clerical Attila,
now in the Vatican, the cardinal “Trucho” Fernández and currently
there are only seven seminary students, 3 from La Plata and 4 from the diocese of Mar del
Plata. We are facing a catastrophe: from 97 to 3 in less than fifteen
years. It should be noted that that archdiocese has 4 bishops. radio
What was called “Church on the move”, in reality is the
liquidation of the Church.
The great sociologist Pitirim Sorokin in his book “Ailments and Manias
of Modern Sociology and Related Sciences” advises us not to fall into the
vice of quantophrenia because “life is too complicated
to be fully accessible to mathematics” (p.158).
But without falling into it, we have used that discipline so
esteemed by Plato who went so far as to write at the entrance of the
Academy: “Let no one enter here who does not appreciate mathematics.
