What is happening in the Church. No. 106
ROME. The biggest novelty is that every day we get fewer scares. That’s not nothing.
SPAIN
1. Pope’s trip to Spain. There’s nothing yet but everything is more than organized. Day by day.
2. Camaldolese hermitage in Córdoba. On the verge of closing a few years ago the hermitage of Herrera and now waiting list and another in Córdoba.
3. The cross of Callosa returns. The neighbors are great. Let’s see if we learn to defend what is ours.
WORLD
4. The San Pius X Brotherhood responds. A very well-prepared letter worth reading. It’s clear that ordaining bishops outside of Rome is schism and entails excommunication. That said, can’t a way be sought in the Catholic Church for these people to fit in?
5. Serious problems in Cuba. The bishops have had to ask Rome to postpone the ad limina visit.
6. And in Nicaragua. Two priests had to be ordained in secret in Costa Rica for fear of reprisals.
7. Christianophobia in Europe. The European Parliament acknowledges and admits it.
8. Online course from Courage International. It will do a lot of good.
