Elections in Aragon. Crushing socialist defeat and poor results for the PP

Someone might think that this is a matter that has nothing to do with religion. And Pedro Sánchez neither with the basilica of the Valley of the Fallen. For example. Well, Pedro Sánchez’s setback in the person of Pilar Alegría should make us happy. As Catholics.

The PSOE has gone from 23 deputies to 18. Failure that repeats the one they just achieved in Extremadura. And everything suggests that we will see it again in the announced elections of Castile and León and in those of Andalusia. Even more in those that may be called.

The PP, which was the one who called the elections, won them but with a truly mediocre result. It had 28 deputies and only managed 26. And that with a PSOE in liquidation. Núñez Feijóo is not liked even by his own. And by those who are not, either. He loses PP votes and doesn’t gain them from anyone. His attempt to recover those from VOX was a total failure and those from the PSOE massively prefer Vox to the PP. Truly his undeniable Galician successes, he doesn’t know how to repeat in other Spanish regions where his maricomplejismo seems to repel.

He arrived in Madrid with a reputation as a skilled politician that he quickly strove to disprove. And his stupid pretension that Vox votes were PP votes is leading him to not achieve governments in the regions where PP and VOX are the majority. And where he has to buy, paying a price, the support of VOX.

The triumph of this last party in Aragón was spectacular, going from 7 deputies to 14. Remaining only 4 deputies from the PSOE which were 1 in Teruel, 1 in Huesca and 2 in Zaragoza. The PSOE already perceives on its neck the breath of its pursuer VOX. It is possible that this same year we will see the sorpasso in some election. Something that Abascal must thank both Sánchez and Núñez Feijóo since both seem delighted to do his campaign for free. And with optimal results.

The Chunta Aragonesista also had good results, although much smaller, going from 3 deputies to 6. Teruel Existe, now I think Aragón Existe, lost one deputy from the three it had. Podemos has disappeared and Izquierda Unida Sumar achieved a scant deputy.

And these PP convocations are not without curiosity to, even winning them, end up in a worse situation than they had before the call to the polls.
