The registration deadline for the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Christendom in Italy ends on April 15

The upcoming April 15 marks the end of the registration deadline for participating in the first Italian pilgrimage of Our Lady of Christendom, which will take place from April 25 to 27, 2026, between Rome and Subiaco, according to the information published on its official website.

This initiative, driven by lay faithful, follows the model of Notre-Dame de Chrétienté in Chartres (France), which in recent decades has established itself as a reference for traditional pilgrimages in Europe and Hispanoamerica, giving rise to events in Spain, Portugal, and Argentina.

Under the motto “In cammino nella fede”, the first Italian edition will take place over three days, with an itinerary that will connect Rome with the Sanctuary of the Sacro Speco in Subiaco, a site closely linked to Saint Benedict of Nursia and relevant in the history of Western Christianity, having been the setting for the beginnings of his eremitic life and the subsequent development of monasticism.

The route will depart from the Basilica of Saint Mary Major and continue along the Via Appia Antica, passing through sites such as the “Quo Vadis” church or Castel Gandolfo, until reaching the sanctuary of Genazzano before concluding in Subiaco. It is an itinerary that brings together some of the main places linked to the Christian tradition in central Italy.
