Mons. Athanasius Schneider celebrated Holy Mass according to the traditional Roman rite in the parish of San Bartolomé in Murcia (diocese of Cartagena) on the occasion of Laetare Sunday, as part of his recent visit to Spain, as various people recorded on social media where they shared photos of the moment.

A visit marked by doctrinal formation
The auxiliary bishop of Astana was in Spain from March 12 to 16, invited by the Luz de Trento association, on a tour that combined liturgical celebrations, conferences, and meetings with the faithful.
According to previous reports, the trip included his stop in Barcelona and Madrid to present his latest book, Fleeing from Heresy, a catechetical and apologetic work focused on ancient and contemporary doctrinal errors.
Additionally, he participated in the congress dedicated to Christ the King, where he addressed issues related to faith, culture, and the role of the Church in today’s society.
Growing interest in traditional liturgy
The celebration in the parish of San Bartolomé gathered faithful linked to the traditional liturgy, in a context where this type of celebration continues to arouse interest in various Spanish dioceses.
The visit of Msgr. Schneider, combined with his public interventions and the dissemination of his work, also reflects the existence of faithful who seek a more solid formation in doctrine and a deeper immersion in liturgical life.
