The Pope receives Fernández, ecclesiastical representatives and diplomats in audience

Pope Leo XIV received in audience on this February 19 Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, as reported by the Holy See Press Office in the official bulletin of audiences.

The note released by the Vatican states that the meeting with the Argentine cardinal took place within the framework of the audiences granted by the Holy Father throughout the morning.

Diplomatic Representatives and Bishops

Among the people received also figures Monsignor Stefano Mazzotti, chargé d’affaires ad interim, as well as Monsignor Devair Araújo da Fonseca, Bishop of Piracicaba, in Brazil.

Meetings with Religious and Roman Clergy

Additionally, the Pope held a meeting with the participants in the General Chapter of the Legionaries of Christ, in the context of the work that the congregation is developing for the review and orientation of its mission.
