Pope Leo XIV received this Thursday, January 29, in the Vatican, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, emeritus prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, as reported by the Holy See Bulletin.

The audience with Cardinal Müller took place as part of the series of meetings held by the Pontiff throughout the morning, during which he also received several bishops, civil authorities, and participants in various ecclesial bodies.

In addition to Cardinal Müller, the Holy Father received in audience Msgr. Giovanni Paccosi, bishop of San Miniato (Italy); Msgr. Thomas Aquinas Lephonse, bishop of Coimbatore (India); and Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, accompanied by her entourage.

Likewise, Msgr. Giuseppe Zenti, emeritus bishop of Verona (Italy); the participants in the Plenary Assembly of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith; and the participants in the General Assemblies of the Consecrated Members of Regnum Christi were received.
