The Cathedral of Pamplona celebrates the Jubilee of Lawyers within the framework of the Jubilee Year 2025

The Pamplona Cathedral hosted the celebration of the Lawyers’ Jubilee, an event that brought together a large group of legal professionals within the 2025 Jubilee Year. The celebration was presided over by the Archbishop of Pamplona and Tudela and featured the participation of nearly a hundred robed lawyers, as well as other attendees in civilian clothes.

The event is part of the diocesan program of the 2025 Jubilee, which the Archdiocese of Pamplona and Tudela is celebrating with various sectoral jubilees aimed at professional and social groups. Among them are, in addition to lawyers, other fields such as architects, musicians, or healthcare workers, following the tradition of offering different sectors of society the opportunity to live the Holy Year in a communal way.

As is customary in jubilee celebrations in Navarre, the participants carried out the penitential route inside the temple and concluded the event with the devotional gesture of kissing the Christ of the cathedral, a traditional sign of veneration and conversion linked to obtaining the jubilee indulgence.

The image of numerous robed lawyers participating in the celebration underscored the public and confessional nature of the event, as well as the presence of the Catholic faith in the practice of a profession called to serve justice and the common good.
