King Felipe VI received, on this December 18, 2025, at the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Letters of Credence from the new ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Spain, including the ambassador of the Holy See, Piero Pioppo.
The ceremony, of a solemn nature, forms part of the diplomatic protocol through which foreign representatives are officially accredited to exercise their functions before the Spanish State.
Along with the representative of the Holy See, the King also received the Letters of Credence from the new ambassadors of Norway, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Brazil, and Ireland, in a day dedicated to international diplomatic activity at the Royal Household.
