On the upcoming January 12, 2026, the Movistar Arena in Madrid will host an unprecedented event in Spain: “Llamados: Unidos hacia el 2033”, a gathering of faith, music, and spiritual inspiration that aspires to become a cultural and pastoral reference for all generations. Tickets are already on sale and range from 15 to 60 euros.
Organized by the Parroquia de Santo Domingo de la Calzada (Algete) and Alpha España, with the official support of the Diócesis de Alcalá de Henares, the event aims to offer an experience of communion and inner renewal in a context of growing need for meaning and hope.
Inspired by major international gatherings
The event draws inspiration from major international faith gatherings, such as the 2024 Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, and is born with the purpose of “creating a space for common celebration for all those seeking meaning, community, and inner renewal.”
“Jesus says in the Gospel: ‘I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled.’ I invite you to participate in ‘Llamados’ to be that flame of God’s love in our world,” stated Monseñor Antonio Prieto Lucena, bishop of the Diocese of Alcalá de Henares, in a message of support shared by the organization.
A three-and-a-half-hour program of music, testimony, and worship
As explained by the organizers, the gathering—lasting approximately three and a half hours—will combine live music, personal testimonies, and moments of prayer. Among the participants, the presence of Hillsong Worship España stands out, one of the most influential Christian bands on the international scene, which will offer a repertoire focused on praise and worship.
The program will also include testimonies from public figures, influencers, and professionals who will share how faith has transformed their lives, along with moments of silence, reflection, and Eucharistic adoration. The event will culminate in a historic moment: the first exposition of the Blessed Sacrament inside a large music venue in Spain, a gesture that aims to unite the spiritual and the contemporary in the same space.
“You are loved. You are called. You are flame”
The event’s motto summarizes its universal message: “You are loved. You are called. You are flame”. A declaration that, according to the organizers, appeals not only to believers but to everyone seeking meaning and value amid the confusion of the current world.
“This is not just another concert, but an experience open to all—state those from Alpha España—. We want attendees to feel that God calls them by name and invites them to be light where there is only darkness today.”
A step toward the 2033 Jubilee
“Llamados: Unidos hacia el 2033” is framed within the horizon of the Great Jubilee of 2033, with which the Church will commemorate two thousand years of the Redemption. This type of initiative aligns with the missionary impulse promoted by Pope Francis to prepare Christian communities around the world for that celebration.
The Diocese of Alcalá de Henares highlights that events like this contribute to “revitalizing evangelization in a secularized context” and to showing a young, joyful, and testimonial face of the Church.
