The image of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza de Triana experienced this Saturday one of the most emotional moments of its Misión Evangelizadora by stopping in front of the Hospital Virgen del Rocío to offer a prayer for the sick, their families, and the healthcare staff.
The event, which gathered numerous faithful outside the children’s hospital, is part of the Misión de la Esperanza, an initiative of the Brotherhood on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, defined by Pope Pius XII in 1950.
With this mission, the Triana corporation seeks to bring the image to various points in the city to carry a message of faith, consolation, and hope. After the prayer, the procession continued its route towards the Capilla de los Marineros, accompanied by numerous devotees.
