On the morning of this Monday, October 13, Pope Leo XIV received in audience Cardinal José Cobo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Madrid.
On the same day, the Holy Father met with Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil; with Gabriel Boric Font, President of Chile; with Monsignor Alberto Ortega Martín, Apostolic Nuncio in Venezuela; with Monsignor Juan Rubén Martínez, Bishop of Posadas (Argentina); and with Monsignor Piergiorgio Bertoldi, Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic and Apostolic Delegate in Puerto Rico.
Furthermore, the Pope greeted the participants in the Study Meeting dedicated to Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val.
