Rome will host the Pax Litúrgica meeting before the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage

Next Friday, October 24, as part of the Jubilee Year 2025, the traditional Pax Litúrgica meeting will take place in Rome, a prelude to the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage, which brings together faithful and priests linked to the Traditional Mass.

A program centered on tradition

The event will be held at the Pontifical Augustinianum Institute, with a program that will open at 9:00 with the reception of participants. At 9:45, the welcome is scheduled by Rubén Peretó Rivas, director of CIEL, and Fr. Claude Barthe, chaplain of CISP.

  • Eduardo McGregor (Madrid): Enter through the narrow gate. Confessions of a convert.
  • Korantrin Denis (Vannes): The Happy Pilgrimage to Breiz in Brittany.
  • Marco Tosatti (Roma): The difficult legacy of Pope Francis as seen by a journalist.
  • Pietra Bertolazzi (São Paulo): From New Age to the traditional Mass.
  • Fr. João Silveira (Lisboa): The traditional Mass in Asia.

The closing will be led by Christian Marquant, president of Pax Litúrgica.

Meeting point for the faithful of tradition

The meeting is inserted into the dynamic of the international Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage, which each year gathers priests, religious, and lay faithful around the traditional liturgy in Rome. This year’s edition takes on special relevance as it coincides with the Holy Year 2025, during which millions of pilgrims will flock to the Eternal City.
