Quebec: Three Polyamorous Men Adopt a Girl in an Aberrant Social Experiment

What until recently seemed like an ideological lab nonsense has become a chilling reality: three men living in a polyamorous relationship have exceptionally managed to adopt a girl in the province of Quebec. The news, published by La Presse, is not a mere curious episode, but a gravely serious milestone in the dismantling of the natural family and in turning children into guinea pigs for social engineering.

An Aberration Endorsed by the State

The process was handled by the Dirección de la Protección de la Juventud (DPJ), a public body in charge of vulnerable minors. That is, a state institution—supposedly called to protect the little ones—decided to hand over a defenseless child to a trio of adults who self-define as “trouple”, a semantic invention to mask what is nothing more than polyamory.

Initially, the DPJ itself rejected such nonsense. But it took pressure from lawyers and ideological lobbies for the case to be transferred to another administrative region, where the adoption was approved. The argument was as poor as it was dangerous: they alleged “discrimination” and “right to equality”. As if the whim of three adults could be equated to the sacred right of a child to have a father and a mother.

The Child, Reduced to an Object of Desire

Although in practice only two of the three men have been legally recognized as parents, the third lives with them and assumes functions as a “parental figure”. The result is chaos: the girl is left in a legal and emotional limbo, dependent on the stability of a sentimental trio as fragile as it is unnatural. In case of breakup, she could lose one of those “referents”, being subjected to a scenario of instability designed by pure whim.

The demand of this trio is even more delusional: that the law recognize “pluriparentality”, that is, that a child can have three, four, or as many parents as the current affective menu requires. The very sense of filiation is erased with a stroke of the pen, and childhood is turned into a field for ideological experimentation.

The Government Itself Warns of the Nonsense

The Quebec government has appealed the decision, warning that recognizing more than two legal parents would open impossible scenarios for child custody. Law professor Dominique Goubau summed it up with elementary logic: “If we recognize three, why not five or six?”. Each additional adult is an added source of conflict and suffering for the child.

But the ideological machinery does not rest. Progressive collectives call this “family diversity”, when in reality it is the demolition of the family.

The Family Cannot Be Improvised or Reinvented

Behind this case is the offensive against the natural family. What is presented to us as progress is, in reality, a juridical and moral monstrosity: subordinating the child’s well-being to the changing desires of adults. The Church has always recalled this with clarity: the family is the stable union of a man and a woman, open to life and oriented toward the good of the children.

Breaking this principle is opening the door to social chaos. Because where the family is weakened, everything totters. What happened in Quebec is not a distant and exotic experiment: it is a warning of how far social engineers are willing to go. And Catholics cannot remain silent: the family is not a toy or a laboratory, but God’s work for man’s life.
