Leo XIV announced at the end of this Wednesday’s general audience a Rosary for Peace on Saturday, October 11 at 6:00 PM in St. Peter’s Square. The Pontiff also asked that during all of October, the month dedicated to the Holy Rosary, prayer for peace be offered daily “personally, in family, in community”.

October, Month of the Rosary: Universal Call

The Pope invited the faithful around the world to pray the Rosary every day during October, offering the prayer for peace, both in a personal as well as familial and communal way.

To those who serve in the Vatican, the Pontiff asked them to pray in St. Peter’s Basilica every day at 7:00 PM. This proposal extends the prayer itinerary throughout all of October.

In addition, the Pope encourages joining from parishes, communities, families, and in an individual way, offering the daily Rosary for concord among peoples and the end of conflicts.
