Vance also denounced that foundations like Open Society and the Ford Foundation financed a “repugnant article” that justified Kirk’s death. He pointed out that these groups, benefiting from favorable tax treatment, are “literally subsidized by you and me”.
The senator emphasized that there can only be unity with “people who recognize that political violence is unacceptable” and with those who work to “dismantle the institutions that foster violence and terrorism in our own country”.
