Il Santo Padre ha accettato la rinuncia al governo pastorale dell’Arcidiocesi di Strasbourg (Francia) presentata da S. E. Mons. Luc Ravel, C.R.S.V., e contemporaneamente ha nominato Amministratore Apostolico sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis S.E. Mons. Philippe Ballot, Arcivescovo-Vescovo di Metz.
